In order to avoid any indecent exposure

As most of you probably know, this whole making a blog thing is quite new to me and I really don't know much about the whole business. So, before I proceed with writing anything else, I am going to lay down some rules for myself. I'll actually feel like I have to answer to them if they're posted, so here we go:

1.) When I write late at night, I tend to spill everything because I'm tired. When I spill everything, it's kind of like being caught naked and, as much as I hate having to wear clothes, I prefer people not seeing me in my birthday suit and think all of you probably prefer it that way, too (I certainly at least hope). In order to prevent me from waking up the next morning and realizing that the going-to-school-naked dream was not actually a dream, I will not post anything after 10.30 at night. If I write after that, I will save it and then re-read it the next day to decide whether or not to post it. This should prevent any sorts of metaphorical streaking on my part.

2.) ...Okay, so I don't actually have a second rule yet. In fact, I don't think I want any other rules just yet. Rules just set expectations and when people's expectations are violated, they get upset. I kind of just want to do whatever I feel like with this blog without worrying that I've violated the expectations which I wrote and upsetting people, so I hope Rule #1 will suffice for the time at preventing me from doing anything too horribly stupid or posting something one of us would regret.

There you have it. Hold me to it. We can't just have people running around naked on Blogger, you know.
