Bread-head

Maybe I should stop going to Kroger... I just enjoy the grocerystore far too much. Not to mention the fact that every time I go there, I find some delightful (a word one of my housemates recently made fun of me for using, but I still use anyways) bakery bread that's on sale and end up buying it.

You maybe asking what's the problem with buying bread (especially quality bread that's on sale) from the grocery store. The problem is that I love bread a little bit too much and can easily go through an entire half-loaf of the good stuff on my very own in just twenty-four hours if I'm not extremely careful and excercise a great deal of self-control. A shining example of this is the fact that I purchased a delicious loaf of caraway rye bread on Saturday night for the nearly unbeatable sale price of $1.39 and have consumed almost the entire thing on  my own already. I have no doubt the remainder of the loaf will be finished off by the end of lunch or possibly even breakfast tomorrow. I guess I just get a bit too carried away with caraway. Maybe it wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't have a scrumptious jar of Michigan cherry jam with which to pair it.

If I am going to keep this high rate of bread consumption up, I think I better start increasing the amount of excercise I get, which is going to be a challenge seeing as I already am getting a pretty good amount of excercise each week. Or, I suppose I could just force myself to go to Walmart and buy much less tempting tortillas.
